Before you take a job abroad

  • Search the company

    SSM registered? Real office? Search its name + "scam".

  • Contract first

    No passport or IC until you sign a contract you can read.

  • Stay on the record

    A "manager" on Telegram is a red flag.

  • Verify the job

    Ask the Ministry of Human Resources or an embassy.

  • Tell your family

    Employer name, address, phone. Before you fly.

    "Agent" holds your passport

    Exit: Keep your passport

  3. Unmarked car

    "Office near the border"

    Exit: Refuse. Call the embassy

  4. Scam compound

    Myanmar, Cambodia or Laos

  5. Exits close at every stop. After the border, there are none.

Already abroad?

  • Keep your passport

    Never hand it to an agent or driver.

  • Share your location

    Live location + employer details to family.

  • Go to the embassy

    Or local police, if something feels wrong.

  • Save the number

    Embassy contact, before you fly.
